Start a roomWe heard that speech sometimes sounded clipped or distant. FlashTranslate now keeps echo cancellation for feedback safety but turns off heavy browser and model-side noise gating by default, so quiet voices are less likely to be cut off.
Rooms also recover more gracefully when the network blips: the app shows connection status, retries the room and interpreter links, and resumes audio when possible without asking you to refresh the page.
On shared Wi‑Fi, abandoned or finished free rooms no longer block new ones for long. Per-device daily limits remain the main guard against abuse; the per-network concurrent cap only counts live trials and ignores stale shells.
